Camille Leong graduated from Ateneo de Manila University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Mathematical Finance. In the two short years since then, she has carved out a remarkable career as a Fibre Optic Network Planner, delivering optimised network designs in terms of cost and time efficiency.
Within a short period of time, Camille has carried out multiple advanced tasks which have wowed her employer. These tasks have involved creating Proof of Concept designs aimed at highlighting the power of the company's optimisation tools and assisting potential clients in assessing the cost of building a network, and contributing to the development works of the company's core code base.
The company Camille works for was so impressed by the pace of her advancement that they promoted her to a Consultant. As a Consultant, Camille acts as a three-way bridge among their clients, their development team, and their design team, where she helps analyse a project's architectural requirements, assess development works required, assist in automating design processes, and facilitate clear communication amongst project stakeholders.
As if this wasn’t enough, Camille has very recently won their "Freedom to Innovate" Value Award for learning to code and thereby contributing to the internal tools being developed by her employer. Her award was presented at the company’s annual three day Hackathon in Antipolo where they huddled into several teams to come up with and present new ideas or innovative solutions.
When she’s not busy climbing her stellar career ladder and pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of the Philippines Diliman, Camille updates herself on current events and engages in socio-political movements. Her deepest aspiration is to eradicate poverty in the Philippines. Sharesource is proud to have her as an incredibly valuable member of the team.
